  With cancer, we tend to focus on the fight --- and sometimes losing the fight. Surviving, however, can also be daunting. "What now?" you might ask. Oxford University Press recently published two books that help answer that question: Surviving the Storm is a workbook for telling your cancer story.   On Thursday, a funeral was held at Old Mission San Juan Bautista for Sula, parish cat, who crossed the rainbow bridge August 24. The funeral consisted of: rosary sharing of memories ("eulogies") traditional burial with holy water and prayers and scripture closing song: Prayer of St. Francis Sula's grave is in the grove by the statue of St. Francis. The current grave sign is temporary; a headstone is being readied and is expected in a couple of months. The funeral was private and attended by Sula's nearly 20 caregivers over her 15 years at the Mission. A public memorial will be held September 25.   Franki Bagdade, author of   I Love My Kids, But I Do Not Always Like Them , was recently interviewed on CCT-TV on the topic of neurodiversity -- those kids whose learning preferences do not match those of others, (Actually, we are all different to some extent, right?)  Here she makes suggestions for inclusion for neurodiverse children who are often unintentionally excluded or excluded because teachers and parents are unaware of how to help them.
