Review of GodSway from J Bennett Easterling (author of award-winning books, Of God, Rattlesnakes, and Okra , God Speaks into Darkness , and  Jesus Is still Passy By ): GODSWAY , My Anecdotes with God , by Diana Skidmore Keathley This is a vivid and inspiring journey into the spiritual life of a charming lady. Diane’s memoir is filled with heart-warming stories of kindness, sacrifices, and an ever-growing faith in the goodness of God. It is a story you will long remember, as she takes baby steps in faith because he keeps dong strange and wonderful things in her life, proving beyond all doubt that he loves us personally and passionately. You will thrill as she tells of so many “co-incidences” happening to her—prayers answered even when she dared to pray in great detail for specific provisions. She began to realize that God is involved in every detail of our lives, willing and able to bless and guide us, providing for our every need. What surprised her even more were the many ways God

Daily Excerpt: One Simple Text...The Liz Marks Story (Shaw and Brown) - Preface

Image
The following excerpt comes from One Simple Text.. . (Shaw & Brown) - Preface   I was in a near death car accident on April 7, 2012.   My face was shattered, and I suffered a traumatic brain injury. I was not expected to live, but by some miracle I did.             My journey to recovery and acceptance of the new me was far more difficult than I imagined.             I questioned why God let me live. Begging Him to let me die, I went into a deep depression.             I had more than 16 operations to repair the damage caused to my face, ears, and eyes.   I felt left out and lonely because I lost my friends on my way to recovery.             This all happened to me because I chose to text and drive.             This is my story.   Liz Marks Liz Marks and her mom, Betty Shaw Eric Hoffer Award finalist American Bookfest Best Books Award finalist For more posts about Betty and Dave and their books, click HERE .   The following excerpt comes from One Family: Indivisible (Greenebaum) One thing I always felt as a child was safe. My parents and indeed my grandparents and my sister all helped to make me feel warm, loved, and totally secure. That all disappeared at dinner one evening in one, horrible, life-changing moment. I’m guessing I was about six, maybe seven — whatever the age is when a child’s mind begins to register what people are actually talking about.             Something may have happened in the news that day.
