Caturday: Why do cats purr?
The late Intrepid loved to sleep with his late dad, Carl , leading to much purring. Today's Caturday post provides some interpretation of purring, one of a cat's way to expression his or her emotions. Some reasons that cats purr: They are happy. They are in pain and trying to self-soothe. They, as kittens, are telling "mom" they are okay. They are hungry and running their "motor" to get some food.
