Book Jewel of the Month: I Love My Kids, Butt I Don't Always Like Them (Bagdade) - reviewed by Colette McNneil

What is a book jewel? A sometimes-overlooked book with remarkable insight and potential significance. Starting in August, we will share near-daily, as possible, reviews of the monthly book jewel - short, succinct reviews that can be read in 1-2 minutes with links to the reviewer by reviewers whose words are worthy of being heard and whose opinions are worthy of being considered. Sometimes a couple of minutes contains more impressive thought than ten times that many. We will let you decide that.

This month's book jewel is I Love My Kids, But I Don't Always Like Them by Franki Bagdade.

Amazon review by MSI Press author, Colette McNeil -

Great Parenting Resource

In this book Franki Bagdade shares some valuable parenting advice. Most prevalent is her unending encouragement that the trying even when sometimes failing is the very thing that validates a positive answer to the question,”Am I a good parent? It’s not perfection but the continued striving to learn and connect with children that makes a great parent. Bravo! This sentiment is further supported by realistic and manageable strategies to try when parents find themselves wanting a better approach to managing difficult moments or issues. This book is now on my list of suggested reading for the parents and educators I may work with in the future.
