Root Yourself in Meaning, Not Prediction

  Uncertainty becomes terrifying when we think our safety depends on knowing the future. But peace comes from knowing why you’re living, not what will happen. Most of us try to manage anxiety by predicting outcomes. We plan, analyze, forecast, and rehearse every possible scenario. We tell ourselves that if we can just know what’s coming, we’ll be safe.
