In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important. ~ Bill Gates   Just as you are developing a policy for homework, you may also feel the need to create one for the TV and other technology. Many parents underestimate the power that television and video games have over children. We will not discuss the nature of TV shows and video games these days or the physical and emotional effects they often have on children. What is important here is that certain things should take precedence over all the technology. Only you can be sure what these things are, of course, but some may include homework, family discussion or "together" time, play, reading time, going outside, and the like...
