Mary’s Role in Catholic Dogma — and the Heart of Intercession Mary’s place in Catholic dogma is never ornamental. It is always relational, always theological, and always ordered toward Christ. When Catholics speak of her, they are really speaking about what God has done — and continues to do — through her “yes.” This morning’s prayer, centered on intercession, sits right inside that tradition.
