What “Irrational” Really Means in Socionics (and why it’s not the opposite of being logical)

  In Socionics, Irrationality doesn’t mean chaos, impulsiveness, or emotional instability. It describes a structural orientation toward openness , adaptation , and continuous flow of experience. Where Rational types seek closure and definition, Irrational types seek movement and emergence. 🌊 The Core Principle: Irrational = Adaptive Structuring of Reality An Irrational type leads with a Perceptive (P) function — Se, Si, Ne, or Ni .
