The Story behind the Book: Puertas a la Eternidad (Ustman)
Today's blog post is the next in the series of book back stories and is the story behind Puertas a La Eternidad by Fernando Ustman.
From the publisher -
This story is quite simple, really. One day, Fernando, simply knocked at our San Juan Bautista door, sent there by his brother, a priest, who knew us. He had two books in hand, Las Puertas a la Eternidad and El Poder de lo Transpersonal. Both had been published in Colombia, his home country, and were popular. Now, he had moved to San Diego, and wondered if his books could appeal to the US Spanish-reading community. Well, to us they looked like they could, and so we took a chance on publishing them. From time to time, they have popped up on best-selling lists, which validates our confidence in publishing them.
