The Story behind the Book: Everybody's Little Book of Everyday Prayers (MacGregor)

From the publisher --

The story behind Everybody's Little Book of Everyday Prayers by Cynthia MacGregor -

This book was originally published as an e-book (and perhaps that is the better format). However, when Cyn came to me after the original publisher went out of business, I saw a happy coincidence in that we had an artist, Zhenya Yanovich, respected and beloved in his native Russia, who was very talented at drawing for children. It seemed like a perfect marriage. So, we offered Cyn a small advance, got Zhenya to draw (his cover drawing is one of my favorites to date), and on we moved.

The book has times of being loved and times of being forgotten. It does not help that both author and artist have died, the latter at a very young age and very unexpectedly.

Still, the book sells, and more important, it provides prayers for those who may be struggling for words on just about any time.
