People envy me. I don’t sweat. Not a drop. I can run, jump, shadow box, and bosun-ball my way through a workout, and my skin stays dry. But my trainer Brittany? She didn’t celebrate. She said:
“No, no—not good. You’re not exchanging fluids.”

Sweating isn’t just about cooling off. It’s how the body:

  • It’s rare, but not unheard of. Causes range from genetics to nerve or skin conditions.
  • The danger isn’t vanity—it’s overheating, especially during cardio or high-intensity work.

🧘‍♀️ Ninja Strategy: Cooling Without Sweat

  • Hydrate early and often: I drink before, during, and after workouts—even if I don’t feel thirsty.
  • Rest strategically: I take short breaks before I feel faint or flushed.
  • Cool-down rituals: Fans, cool cloths, and shade are part of my post-training routine.
  • Monitor skin and breath: Redness and shallow breathing are my cues to pause.

🧠 Ninja Wisdom: Listen to the Body You Have

  • I don’t sweat. That’s my reality. But I adapt.
  • I train with awareness, not envy.
  • And when Brittany tells me to rest, I don’t argue. I hydrate, breathe, and return stronger.

So yes, I’m the Grandma Ninja who doesn’t sweat. But I still train. I still move. And I still learn. Because being a ninja isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence.
